Maserati is all set to launch the new GranTurismo in India tomorrow. The Grand Tourer is offered in three variants globally: Modena, Trofeo and Folgore. The first two are ICE models, while the third is an electric model. Although it has not been officially announced yet, the Italian carmaker will first launch the car in ICE form and follow up with the electric model some time later. In ICE configuration, the GranTurismo is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine (located behind the front axle) that produces 483bhp/600Nm in the base Modena and 550bhp/650Nm in the performance Trofeo models. The entry-level model has a 0-100kmph acceleration time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 302kmph. In comparison, the more powerful Trofeo has an acceleration time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 320kmph.
