Suzuki Hayabusa recalled in India due to front brake issue;

Suzuki Motorcycle India has issued a voluntary recall of around 1,056 units of the third-generation Hayabusa (produced between March 2021 and September 2024) due to a suspected front brake issue. According to the company's description, "The front brake lever gap increases, and in the worst case scenario, the brake lever comes into contact with the accelerator grip and braking distance increases." For the uninitiated, braking has always been an issue with the Hayabusa range, with early models receiving criticism for their braking efficiency. However, this problem was solved with the third generation model, which was equipped with 10mm larger brake discs and Brembo Stylema calipers. The recent recall addresses an issue with excessive front brake play, which could cause the brake lever to come into contact with the handlebars, posing a safety risk. Currently, there is no official word on the matter, but we expect more information soon. Also read: Hero, Vida will launch 4 two-wheelers at EICMA 2024, Xpulse…
