More than 37,000 vehicles are being recalled due to a possible fault in the windshield wiper motor. August 15, 2024 — Ford 2023-2024 Maverick, 2023 Ford Bronco Sport and 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles are equipped with front windshield wiper motors that may fail, causing the wipers to fail. Ford is recalling more than 37,300 vehicles due to faulty wiper blades, and Ford dealers may be able to fix the problem by replacing the wiper motors. In April, reports surfaced of faulty windshield wipers on Bronco Sport and Maverick vehicles, prompting Ford to launch an investigation. Engineers discovered that water had entered the windshield wiper motor, causing it to stop working.
