2024 autoX Awards: Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 Performance,
autoX Awards 2024: As competition in the 400cc segment in India grows, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 still stands out. It doesn't even feel like it's competing in the same space - in fact, it seems to be in a league of its own, with a unique character. 2024 autoX Awards: Husqvarna motorcycles are known for their Swedish minimalism and stunning design, and I’ll admit, I’m a big fan of the smaller Svartpilen 250. While it's beautiful, it's not without its flaws. However, the new Svartpilen 401 seems to solve many of these problems, starting with one of the most important ones - road presence. The 401 is larger in every way, offering more space and a more rugged road appearance. Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 world premiere with KTM 790 Duke
Husqvarna has unveiled the new Vitpilen 801, the company’s second motorcycle based on the KTM 790 Duke platform after the Husqvarna Svartpilen 801. Available in two colors (yellow and silver), the Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 is designed to deliver what Husqvarna calls an engaging riding experience, achieved through a 799cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine and state-of-the-art electronic riding aids. The parallel-twin engine produces 103.5bhp at 9,250rpm and peak torque of 87Nm at 8,000rpm, the same as the Svartpilen 801. It's mated to a 6-speed gearbox with the option of a bi-directional "Easy Shift" quickshifter. The chassis is a tubular steel unit suspended by inverted front forks (140 mm travel) and rear monoshock absorber (150 mm travel). Both are adjustable WP units. Braking duties are taken care of by twin 300mm discs with radially mounted four-piston calipers at the front and a single 240mm disc with a two-piston caliper at the rear. J.Juan provided the braking system, and the anti-lock braking system (ABS)…

Coming back to the Vitpilen 801, the model is expected to follow a cafe racer-like design while sharing some elements with its sibling, the Svartpilen 801. The teaser video shows off a new LED projector headlight with an oval LED daytime running light surrounding it. The tank extension is very sharp, while the side panels and tail seem to be influenced by Svartpilen 801.
