The 2017 SRT Viper ACR is by far the fastest American car around the Nürburgring. Ford claims the Mustang GTD is faster and can drop to under 7 minutes. Powering this GT3-inspired muscle car is a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine producing 825 horsepower. Ford has been clear about its intention to take the limited-edition Mustang GTD to the Nürburgring and create a lap lap.
