Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: The Creta has been Hyundai's best-selling model for years and now it has further broadened its appeal with a new electric variant starting at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). To continue the SUV's impressive range, Hyundai showcased the Creta Flex Fuel variant at the Auto Expo. While this version won't go into production anytime soon, it underscores Hyundai's commitment to advancing sustainable technology. Flex Fuel models come with a 1.0-litre GDI turbo-petrol engine producing 118bhp and 172Nm (also found in the Hyundai Venue 1.0 and i20). However, the unit is specifically tuned to run on ethanol only, without the need for gasoline blending, ensuring smooth operation. It has a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Apart from the Flex-fuel technology, the SUV remains unchanged.
