The third-generation Acura Integra is a clear representation of this, with the range-topping "Type R" model entering the U.S. market in 1997, equipped with a powerful and economical B18C inline four-cylinder engine and a five-speed manual transmission. Japan got the car even earlier - a year earlier, in 1996. Of course, it was sold as Honda, as the Acura brand only existed in North America at the time. The new Acura ADX is an Integra SUV
The 2026 Acura ADX is a new, lower-priced entry-level competitor in the subcompact luxury crossover SUV segment. It is built on the same platform as the Acura Integra and Honda HR-V, and will also share the Integra's 1.5-liter engine. Pricing for the new SUV will start around $30,000 and will arrive in dealerships early next year. Acura enters the crowded entry-level crossover market with the new ADX. Positioned below the RDX, the new contender builds on the Integra's running gear as well as Honda's own HR-V, with a mid-$30,000 price tag, a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and three trim levels to tempt buyers. Radical Acura Integra Type S prototype previews ‘potential’

The Honda Integra Anniversary Special Limited Edition features red and black stickers. The interior is finished in red and features Integra-branded accessories. The model is available in limited quantities and costs 1,688 yen ($233) more than the standard Integra.
