JSW MG Motor launches ‘eHUB’ charging app for electric car owners
JSW MG Motor India, a joint venture between SAIC Motor and JSW Group, is making a big push into the Indian electric vehicle industry. At its recent DriEV.Bharat event, the manufacturer showcased a host of technologies designed to simplify the EV ownership experience and encourage EV adoption in India. EV charging infrastructure is one of the main concerns for potential customers. A new app from JSW MG Motor India, eHUB by MG, aims to address this. Using this one-stop shop, Indian customers can search, book and pay for charging stations across the country. Besides showing the location and availability of EV charging points along the route, the app also allows users to select a destination on a map. Once the charging is complete, users can pay for the service through the app. The app boasts partners including major charging networks such as Adani Total Energies Limited (ATEL), BPCL, Chargezone, HPCL, Shell, Zeon, Glida, Statiq and Jio-BP, with more partners to…
