August 16, 2024 — GM is recalling more than 24,000 of its all-electric Cadillac LYRIQ all-wheel-drive SUVs because drivers could lose their brakes. The recall is for 2023-2024 Cadillac LYRIQ SUVs because the anti-lock braking system (ABS) may unexpectedly activate and release brake pressure in the braking system. "Under rare circumstances, the vehicle may experience overly sensitive Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) control during certain braking operations at speeds less than 25 mph on dry roads.
