Bugatti’s first mass-produced Bolide model delivered to the United States
One of the bolides is owned by American real estate tycoon Manny Khoshbin This wild Bugatti is powered by a quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine producing 1,578 horsepower. Pricing for the track-only limited edition starts at nearly $5 million. Four years ago, Bugatti launched the Bolide, a crazy creation born as an experimental study. It's almost unimaginable that it will ever result in a production model. However, Bugatti confirmed as early as 2021 that 40 Bolide models would be produced, and just as 2024 ended, some of the first models were handed over to US customers. var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== "DESKTOP"){ adpushup.triggerAd("0f7e3106 -c4d6-4db4-8135-c508879a76f8"); } else { adpushup.triggerAd("82503191-e1d1-435a-874f-9c78a2a54a2f"); The first bolide to land on American soil is a stunning example of a black and blue combination with some white accents. Even though the supercar is worth nearly $5 million, it wasn't long before the owner was taking it for a spin around the…
Karma Ivara GT-UV concept car is expected to be mass-produced
Karma Automotive has revealed its first crossover, the Ivara GT-UV design study, at Monterey Car Week. Unlike Karma's upcoming Kaveya coupe and Gyesera sedan EVs, the Ivara could be offered with either electric or PHEV power options. Karma also unveiled the production interior of Kaveya and announced a technology partnership with Intel. Monterey Car Week was so packed with new cars that one nearby automaker had a hard time getting the exposure it deserved: Karma Automotive, whose Ivara GT-UV is the company's first crossover, and a striking one at that. var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== "DESKTOP"){ adpushup.triggerAd("4d84e4c9 -9937-4f84-82c0-c94544ee6f2a"); } else{ adpushup.triggerAd("6a782b01-facb-45f3-a88f-ddf1b1f97657"); } }); Karma just updated its aging Revero hybrid and will introduce its next-generation Kaveya coupe (shown in production trim in Monterey) and Gyesera sedan in the next few years. But the Ivara seems most likely to succeed. RELATED: New Karma Gyesera Upgrades Fisker Karma Legacy With 590-HP Electric GT In…
The AC Cobra GT Coupe is the first mass-produced snake-shaped sports car.
AC has unveiled the Cobra GT Coupe, the company's first fixed-roof Cobra road car. The Coupe is a fastback version of the new Cobra GT Roadster and features the same aluminum chassis. AC says it was inspired by the AC A98 Le Mans racer of the early 1960s, rather than Shelby's conceptually similar Cobra Daytona. The AC Cobra has been offered with a variety of different engines, radically different fender widths, and even a carbon fiber body during its 62-year production run, but incredibly, the new Cobra GT Coupe is the first true AC Cobra to feature a coupe body. var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== "DESKTOP"){ adpushup.triggerAd("4d84e4c9 -9937-4f84-82c0-c94544ee6f2a"); } else{ adpushup.triggerAd("6a782b01-facb-45f3-a88f-ddf1b1f97657"); } }); Essentially a closed-roof version of the new Cobra GT Roadster, the Coupe is a radical attempt to update an iconic model in a Morgan-like manner, using a modern aluminum chassis and technology while retaining the classic silhouette. The Coupe…
