It's been two decades since Ford produced a 2004 SVT Mustang Cobra in Mystichrome paint. Guess what? It still hasn't added it back to the list of available colors. The good news is that RTR Vehicles has started offering the unique color-changing finish. RTR Vehicles has also introduced several other exclusive color options for the Mustang. The tuner even offers a Paint-to-Sample program, just like Porsche. Color changes may not be to everyone's taste, but they are certainly eye-catching, and thanks to RTR Vehicles, founded by drift driver Vaughn Gittin Jr., owners of the 2024 Ford Mustang can have their cars painted in a special Mystichrome color. Ford first introduced a variation of this color on the 1996 Mustang Cobra, then reformulated it and applied it to the 2004 Cobra. About 1,000 cars were painted this color before Ford discontinued the use of this particular color. While it would be great if Ford themselves revived this paint, RTR might be the next best option.
