2024 Hyundai Santa Fe recalled, ordered to stop selling
Hyundai is recalling nearly 50,000 Santa Fe crossovers in the United States. The wiring harnesses on these models could become damaged, triggering the airbags or rendering them inoperable. Dealers were told not to deliver the crossovers to customers until the problem was resolved. The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe has been recalled again, and the crossover has also received a sales ban. The problem is that the second-row airbags may deploy unexpectedly in a collision or not deploy at all. var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:()}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== "DESKTOP"){ adpushup.triggerAd("4d84e4c9 -9937-4f84-82c0-c94544ee6f2a"); } else{ adpushup.triggerAd("6a782b01-facb-45f3-a88f-ddf1b1f97657"); } }); The recall affects 49,719 Santa Fe and Santa Fe Hybrid vehicles that were produced between December 2023 and July of this year. If this happens, it may cause "unintended air bag deployment and/or failure to deploy…

The case comes as Ford is being hit with multiple class-action lawsuits over exhaust fumes entering its Explorer models, including the Ford Explorer Police Interceptor. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration spent more than six years investigating the alleged carbon monoxide problem, but announced in January 2023 that it had found no defects and closed its investigation. The investigation involved 1.3 million Ford Explorer consumer SUVs and Explorer police interceptor vehicles from the 2011 to 2017 model years, but NHTSA found that the SUVs did not…
