The recalled 2023-2024 Honda Passport and 2023-2025 Honda Pilot vehicles are equipped with filler necks and filler tubes that can separate in a crash impact. Fuel leaks are dangerous at any time due to the risk of fire, especially in the event of a crash. Americans can now renew their passports online, eliminating the cumbersome process of mailing paper applications that often causes delays. The U.S. State Department announced Wednesday that after a pilot test, the State Department's online renewal system is now fully operational and available to all adult passport holders whose passports have expired within the past five years or will expire within the next year. It does not apply to renewals of children's passports, first-time passport applicants, renewal applicants living outside the United States, or expedited applications. “By offering this online alternative to the traditional paper application process, the department is digitally transforming to provide the most efficient and convenient passport renewal experience possible,” U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement.
