250 units of the Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed have been produced and are powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 577 hp and 800 Nm. Mercedes-AMG has launched the SL 63-based PureSpeed as the first model in the Mythos series, a new series of special edition cars. This unique model distinguishes itself from the AMG SL Roadster by adopting a series of striking modifications to its exterior. These include highly aggressive aerodynamic upgrades that set the tone for its performance-focused design. The familiar AMG Panamericana grille is replaced by a striking shark-nose design, which is highlighted by the prominent central air intake and dynamic sides.
