Italdesign's futuristic truck concept offers a cool 4-motor setup with an incredible 2,145 horsepower Italdesign's Quintessenza concept now features four electric motors delivering an astonishing 2,145 horsepower. The futuristic electric car's rear seats flip up to reveal a hidden, open truck bed area. The company also announced it would spend $20 million to set up a headquarters in Michigan and work with U.S. automakers to develop electric vehicle technology. The announcements at CES this year were a little crazy, and the Italdesign Quintessenza hit the spot. While its exterior design remains unchanged from what we saw last year, it features new Elaphe electric motor technology. This means it now has an electric motor on each wheel, which brings a number of benefits to future truck concepts.
