Louisville police arrest street racers, including muscle car
They even caught a Dodge Charger driver going 140 mph in a 55 mph zone. On August 8, Kentucky police arrested several street racers, causing them to lose their vehicles. Authorities will impound the vehicles for six months and charge the driver of each vehicle $1,000. The operation is part of a long-term crackdown on street racing in Louisville. Street racing is definitely not a smart move, but imagine losing your car while doing it. Add to that the prospect of facing a four-digit fine and having local police abuse you on social media.
