The option is available on GLS and GSR grades of the pickup truck with no price changes. The reduced payload makes the Triton eligible for lease conversion, appealing to a wider range of customers. Mitsubishi has announced an expansion of its Triton pickup truck line-up in Australia with the introduction of “additional payload options”. While this would normally suggest a more capable version of the truck is on the way, the company is actually reducing the payload of the existing model to make it eligible for Australia’s Rental Innovation program and to expand its target audience.
