The recalled models are 2024 Lexus RX and 2024-2025 Lexus NX SUVs, both of which have front driver and passenger headrests that can be removed without pressing a release button. Despite the limited information, Lexus said the head restraint issue increased the risk of injury to passengers and also violated safety standards. More than 1,000 SUVs are being recalled in Canada. In February 2022, NHTSA launched an investigation into complaints about backup camera malfunctions on 2017 to 2018 Honda Ridgeline vehicles, and subsequently recalled 2017 to 2019 Ridgeline trucks in November 2022.
