Royal Enfield sales down 5% in August
Royal Enfield sold 73,630 motorcycles in August 2024, down 5% from the 77,583 units sold in the previous year. Of these, the motorcycle manufacturer supplied 65,624 motorcycles in the local market, down 5% from the 69,393 units sold in August last year. Sales in the international market also fell. Last month, the company exported 8,006 motorcycles, down 2% from 8,190 units in the same period last year. In terms of year-to-date sales, Royal Enfield reported selling 3.32 lakh vehicles between April and August 2024, down 3% from the same period last year. During the period, the company shipped 36,284 vehicles overseas, up 1%.
