Royal Enfield Classic 650, updated Interceptor 650 spotted
While Royal Enfield prepares the updated Interceptor 650, it is working on expanding its 650cc range with the Classic 650. The retro-looking Classic 650 has been unveiled in India and the upcoming Interceptor 650 is also being tested in the country. The styling of the latter will be similar to the smaller Classic 350, but the bike will share its underpinnings with other 650cc models. The riding position is expected to be comfortable, with upright handlebars and mid-set footpegs. The Classic 650 and the 2025 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 are not the only models equipped with the familiar 648cc parallel twin air/oil-cooled engine. The Royal Enfield Classic 650 was spotted uncamouflaged in the UK, with design elements borrowed from its smaller sibling (Classic 350) such as fenders, headlights, and taillights. It has a slightly larger (around 15-16 litre capacity) dual-tone (maroon and cream) fuel tank with the Royal Enfield logo in retro font, two peashooter exhaust pipes, spoked wheels with inner tubes, and chrome-plated engine cases. The motorcycle features a tubular steel frame, twin shock absorbers at the rear, and telescopic forks at the front. It appears to use a 320 mm disc brake with a twin-piston floating caliper at the front and a 300 mm disc brake with a similar caliper at the rear, both with ABS, similar to the Super Meteor.
