Royal Enfield Thailand CKD factory starts production
Royal Enfield has taken a major step in its global expansion strategy by opening its first independent motorcycle assembly plant outside India. The new 57,000-square-foot factory in Samut Prakan, Bangkok, Thailand, is designed to produce more than 30,000 motorcycles per year to meet growing demand in Southeast Asia. With Thailand becoming Royal Enfield's largest market in Asia after India, this local production center will play a vital role in meeting the growing demand for the iconic Royal Enfield motorcycles in the region. In addition to the Thailand factory, the brand also operates CKD assembly plants in key markets such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Bangladesh and Nepal, further strengthening its international presence.
