Skoda and Volkswagen have launched a recall campaign for some vehicles produced under the Skoda-Volkswagen India 2.0 strategy. Affected models include Kushaq and Taigun SUVs, as well as Slavia and Virtus sedans. Of the total 52 vehicles, 14 were Skoda Kushaq and Slavia models, and 38 were Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus models. According to a list on SIAM's voluntary recall website, the recall was triggered by irregularities in the parts supplier's production process. The issue is related to a welding error on the track control arms, which could cause the vehicle to suddenly lose control and stability without any prior warning.
