F1: McLaren extends Andrea Stella’s tenure as team principal
McLaren has renewed the contract of Team Principal Andrea Stella, highlighting the team's rapid development this season. Under Stella's leadership, McLaren has become a strong championship contender. Since taking the helm in 2022, the team has won two Grand Prix, 18 podiums and a sprint race. McLaren now has 10 consecutive podiums and has closed the gap to championship leaders Red Bull to 42 points. Stella joined McLaren in 2015 and played a major role in the team's resurgence. In 2019, he was promoted to Executive Director of Racing and then appointed Team Principal, consolidating his reputation as a strategic and results-oriented leader.
