This is the second time Volkswagen has increased prices after raising the prices of its petrol and diesel models last spring. Volkswagen has informed German dealers of an impending price increase for its internal combustion engine models. Price increases range from 2.1% to 4.2%, depending on the model. The new pricing catalogue will take effect on September 12, 2024. VW needs cash, and it plans to get it not only by cutting costs but, predictably, by raising prices. VW will reportedly increase prices on its petrol and diesel models in Germany by between 2.1% and 4.2%.
