The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid lawsuit is on hold as some plaintiffs are sent to arbitration. November 8, 2024 — The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid class action lawsuit has been put on hold as some of the plaintiffs' claims have been submitted to arbitration. The plaintiffs allege that the Pacifica hybrid minivan "had a defective propulsion system that could cause power to shut down immediately while the vehicle was in motion." The lawsuit was filed just weeks after Fiat Chrysler recalled 2017-2023 Pacifica Hybrids due to a problem that could shut down the minivan. The problem in the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is caused by an internal transmission line connector that can short out and cause the engine to lose power and shut down. British company director suspended for exporting luxury perfume to US
The UK High Court has ordered the temporary removal of a director of a group of companies suspected of violating sanctions by exporting perfume to Russia. According to the ruling on July 5, David Crisp was arrested by HMRC on October 10 last year "on suspicion of violating Russian sanctions law and his mobile phone, iPad and laptop were seized."
