KTM launches TFT touch screen with offline map navigation function,
KTM has launched a new TFT touchscreen to enhance the human machine interface (HMI) experience on its upcoming motorcycles. The upgrade also includes redesigned handlebar switchgear and a new connectivity system. Speaking of screens, the first one is an 8-inch vertical panel called V80. The second is an 8.8-inch horizontally positioned display called the H88. Both devices feature 1280 x 720 high resolution. According to KTM, the new V80 and H88 screens feature inductive touchscreen technology, allowing riders to control them with or without gloves. They also feature bonded screen technology including anti-reflective, anti-fingerprint and anti-glare coatings to improve user interface visibility from all angles.
