Royal Enfield Bear 650 vs Triumph Scrambler 400 X Spec
Royal Enfield will launch its much-awaited Scrambler motorcycle - Bear 650 in India on November 5. Compared to the Interceptor 650 on which it is based, the Bear 650 features longer suspension travel, a scrambler-style seat, a two-into-one exhaust and a lift-up rear hoop. The new bike also has increased ground clearance for better off-road riding handling. While the Scrambler segment in India will see new entrants like the Royal Enfield Bear 650 next month, Triumph launched the off-road variant Scrambler 400 X in October 2023 in partnership with Bajaj Auto. Triumph Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X discount of Rs 10,000
Earlier in July 2024, Triumph Motorcycles announced a limited-time discount of Rs 10,000 on the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X. The move was to celebrate the company's milestone of selling more than 50,000 units of the motorcycles within a year of their launch. Due to the favorable response from customers, the offer (originally valid till July 31) has now been extended till August 31, 2024. While Triumph gave the above reasons, the decision to extend the discount period could be to offset the impact of the launch of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, a competitor to the Triumph Speed 400. The Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X are currently priced at Rs 2.24 lakh and Rs 2.54 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The Guerrilla 450 is priced between Rs 2.39 lakh and Rs 2.54 lakh (introductory price, ex-showroom).
