A learner driver has been charged with multiple offences after he was pulled over without a guardian and with three children in the car who were not properly restrained. Nepean Highway Patrol officers stopped the Honda Odyssey for a random inspection and found the child seat was not secured to the mounting point as required, was improperly secured and was free to move. The 28-year-old showed police her expired overseas driver's licence, but further checks revealed she held a NSW learner's licence, which requires a fully licensed driver as a supervisor.
