Citroën recently launched the fourth model under the C-Cubed project, the Basalt, marking the company's entry into the coupe SUV segment. Positioned above its platform sibling, the C3, the Citroën Basalt will be priced from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 13.62 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the model have already begun for a token amount of Rs 11,001, while deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first week of September 2024. The Citroen Basalt is available with two engine options – a 1.2-litre turbo petrol and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol. The former produces 108 hp and 205 Nm of peak torque, while the latter produces 81 hp and 115 Nm of peak torque. The NA engine is mated only to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the turbo petrol engine is available with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox and a 6-speed manual gearbox. Mahindra Thar Roxx MX1, MX3, AX3 L, MX5, AX5 L, AX7 variants
After months of anticipation, the five-door off-road SUV Mahindra Thar Roxx has finally landed in the Indian market. Positioned above the three-door Thar, the Thar Roxx starts at Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base MX1 petrol-MT model, while the three-door model starts at Rs 11.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mahindra Thar Roxx is available in two configurations and 18 trims - 4x2 and 4x4. Prices for the Thar Roxx 4x2 range from Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh (ex-showroom), while prices for the 4WD variant are yet to be announced. The Thar Roxx gets a new grille, LED projector headlamp design, redesigned tail lamps, angular C-pillar design and two extra doors compared to its 3-door sibling. Other features of the Roxx include 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels (only on higher trims), vertically placed door handles for the second row, and a rear wiper and washer.
