Volkswagen Virtus GT series, GT Plus Sport launched in India,
Volkswagen has launched Virtus GT Line and GT Plus Sport in the Indian market. The former is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine mated to a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox and is priced at Rs 14.07 lakh. The latter, on the other hand, starts at Rs 17.84 lakh and comes with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Prices are ex-showroom. Apart from this, the company has also launched Highline Plus variants of Virtus and Taigun. In addition to this, Volkswagen is also offering enhanced feature packages for the Taigun GT series launched in April 2024. To start with, the Volkswagen Virtus GT range comes with a black grille, LED headlights (with LED DRLs), exterior mirrors, trunk lid spoiler and window grilles. There is also black Virtus lettering on the trunk lid. While the door handles feature unique dark chrome accents, the GT Series badges remain in black.…
