According to the class action lawsuit, the 2020-2022 Land Rover Defender windshield recall was long overdue, but Land Rover is forcing owners to pay up to $2,000 to replace the glass. Additionally, Defender customers will have to shoulder the costs even if the vehicle is still under warranty. The windshields are said to chip, crack or break from the smallest stone impact. Defender customers have also complained that the windshields can crack even when they have not been hit.
