The SUV starts at a whopping Rs 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom). Indians hoped that the X-Trail would be a strong competitor to the Fortuner, but the Nissan SUV is much more expensive than the diesel 4×4 automatic Fortuner. The petrol version of the Fortuner is priced at up to Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom).
