This 681-horsepower Xiaomi YU7 electric SUV is a Tesla Model Y
The Xiaomi YU7 electric SUV, the Chinese company's second mass-produced model after the SU7 sedan, has been leaked in China. Xiaomi's public sales license filing with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and subsequent official images reveal much about the electric SUV's exterior design; however, the vehicle you see in the photos is aimed at the Chinese market . Dimensionally, the YU7 looks very similar to the SU7 launched in China in March 2024, except for the height. It is 4,999mm long, 1,996mm wide, 1,600mm high (an increase of 145mm), and has a wheelbase of 3,000mm. The car's curb weight is 2,405 kg. Even styling cues are borrowed from sedans in the class, with the YU7 featuring teardrop-shaped LED headlights, sharp creases, a stylish greenhouse and interconnected LED taillights.
