The Callum Skye continues its slow march into production, with the company showing off its minimalist interior. While it doesn’t completely break away from the “iPad on the dashboard” trend, the company’s design-centric roots are on full display.

This is clearly visible in the stylish steering wheel, which appears to be wrapped in leather and microfiber upholstery. More notably, there is a Vitamin C ring that echoes the matching door pull.

Talking about the doors, they feature a dual-tone design with satin gun metal gray accents. Buyers will also find a “deconstructed tartan” pattern that has been digitally printed onto the leather upholstery.

Elsewhere there are large analog gauges and a small touchscreen display with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Further down, there’s a minimalist center console with a touchscreen rotary dial, push-button shifter, and a few other controls. They are held together by two small cup holders and stainless steel pedals with rubber trim.
Callum didn’t delve into too many details, but said the model comes with Bridge of Weir semi-aniline leather sports seats with contrast stitching. There is a removable rear bench between them, which is said to be suitable for children.
As well as an interior that demonstrates production intentions, the latest Skye prototype’s body panels are made from flax composite and bio-resin. Callum said the panels may eventually be offered as an option on road-going models.
As a refresher, the Skye is 159.3 inches (4,047 mm) long, has a 42 kWh battery pack, all-wheel drive, and an estimated range of 170 miles (274 km). The car is expected to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in less than four seconds and cost between £80,000 ($101,987) and £110,000 ($140,232).
