Citroen Basalt Coupe SUV: Exterior

The exterior design of the Basalt is mostly reminiscent of its sibling, the C3 Aircross, except for the unique side profile and new alloy wheel designs. From the front, the model is very similar to the C3 Aircross, with the same split grille, imitation silver skid plate and chrome chevron emblem. It uses projector LED headlights instead of halogen headlights, although the LED daytime running lights are the same as on the C3 Aircross. The roofline extends to the boot lid and combines with a sizable tailgate to provide excellent boot accessibility while retaining the coupe look. It retains the side profile with sturdy fenders that emphasize the stance of the car and complement the angular form of the wheel arches. The body cladding has a matte finish. The alloy wheels are smaller and shod with different tires compared to the concept model.
