Tata Nexon EV, Punch EV prices cut by up to Rs 3 lakh

As the festive season approaches, Tata Nexon EV, Punch EV and ICE cars get big price cuts

As part of its ‘Festival of Cars’ initiative, Tata Motors has announced deep discounts on its electric and combustion engine vehicles, with significant price cuts across its product portfolio. These festive offers are aimed at making Tata’s range of cars, including its electric models, more affordable for more consumers.

Electric car prices fall

The highlight of the scheme is the price cut of Tata Nexon EV, with a discount of up to Rs 3 lakh. The starting price of Nexon EV is now Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom), which is on par with the ICE model. This move is expected to generate more interest in Tata electric vehicles during the festive season.

The newly launched Tata Punch EV is also part of the discount scheme with a price cut of up to Rs 12 lakh. After the price cut, the starting price of the Punch EV is Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from the Punch EV, Tata has also adjusted the prices of the Tiago EV to make it more competitive with the ICE version.

Additionally, buyers of Tata Electric vehicles can also avail free charging for six months at over 5,500 Tata Power charging stations across the country, further adding to the value proposition of EV conversion.

ICE Vehicle Discounts

In the internal combustion engine segment, Tata Motors has also announced significant price cuts across its product line. The Tata Tiago hatchback will be available at a starting price of Rs 4.99 lakh with discounts of up to Rs 65,000 (depending on the model). Similarly, the Tigor sedan will have a new base price of Rs 5.99 lakh with discounts of up to Rs 30,000.

The Altroz ​​premium hatchback starts at Rs 6.49 lakh with a discount of up to Rs 45,000. The Tata Nexon starts at Rs 7.99 lakh with a discount of up to Rs 80,000 on all variants.

Flagship SUV

For those interested in a large SUV, Tata has also reduced the prices of its flagship models. The Harrier starts at Rs 14.99 lakh and the price cut is up to Rs 1.6 lakh, depending on the model. Similarly, the Safari starts at Rs 15.49 lakh and the price cut is up to Rs 1.8 lakh.

Apart from these discounts, Tata Motors showrooms are also offering additional benefits of up to Rs 45,000.
