Tata Punch EV, Tiago EV discounted up to Rs 85,000

Tata Motors will offer discounts of up to Rs 85,000 on Punch EV and Tiago EV in January 2025. 2024 and 2025 inventory of the above models are eligible for discounts, making them more affordable for buyers. The Tata Punch EV is now available at an even more attractive price point with its compact SUV design and attractive features. Likewise, the Tiago EV is a popular choice in the affordable electric hatchback segment, offering strong performance and range at a competitive price. These offers are designed to make the brand’s electric vehicles more accessible to a wider customer base, helping to drive further growth in the electric vehicle market. Tata Motors’ latest discounts are of two types: green incentives and exchange/scrappage benefits, with the amount varying depending on the model.

Tata Punch EV discount: January 2025

Tata Punch EV is available in two powertrain options: mid-range (MR) and long-range (LR). This month, discounts of up to Rs 70,000 are available on the 2024 Punch EV model. The 3.3kW MR (mid-range) variants are available with a discount of Rs 40,000 on the Smart and Smart+ variants, while the other 3.3kW MR variants are available with a discount of Rs 50,000. The 3.3kW LR (Long Range) variant is available with a discount of Rs 50,000, while the LR variant with 7.2kW fast charger is available with a discount of Rs 70,000. The 2025 Punch EV comes with a flat discount of Rs 40,000.

The MR model comes with a 25kWh battery and has a range of 315 kilometers (MIDC), while the LR model has a larger 35kWh battery and has a range of 421 kilometers on a single charge (MIDC). Both powertrains feature permanent magnet synchronous motors, but the MR version has 81bhp, while the LR has a lower 120bhp. The Punch EV MR has 81bhp and 114Nm of torque and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 13.5 seconds, while the LR version has 120bhp and 190Nm and completes the same sprint in 9.5 seconds.

Tata Tigor EV discount: January 2025

The Tiago EV is available with two battery options: a 19.2kWh mid-range battery and a 24kWh long-range battery. The mid-range model comes with a 60bhp engine and has a claimed range of 250 kilometers, while the long-range model puts out 74bhp and has a range of 315 kilometers. Using a DC fast charger, the Tiago EV can be charged from 10% to 80% in 57 minutes. Tata also includes a standard 3.3kW AC wall box charger, and an optional 7.2kW AC fast charger.

Talking about offers, the 2024 Tata Tiago EV offers discounts of up to Rs 85,000, while the 2025 model comes with a flat discount of Rs 40,000 on all models. The 3.3kW XE variant of the 2024 Tiago EV is discounted by Rs 50,000, while the 3.3kW XT MR variant is discounted by Rs 70,000. The maximum discount is Rs 85,000 on the 3.3kW XT LR variant and Rs 60,000 on the XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux variants.
