Tata Sierra Dashboard Patent Leak – What Does It Show?

The Tata Sierra SUV ready for production will arrive in the second half of 2025. Before officially arrived, we saw the model on Auto Expo, followed by several spy images and videos, and leaked patented images. Recently, a patent filed for its dashboard design leaked online. Interestingly, patented images suggest that the final version of the Sierra Mountains will have separate infotainment and driver’s instrument panels, but it will be missed on the passenger side screen. The model presented at the Bharat Mobility Fair is said to have a triple screen setup, which does not exist here.

The dashboard design comes with a 4-spoke steering wheel and integrated AC vents that appear to have been borrowed from Harrier. The higher decor of the mountains is possible specifically provided with triple displays. The steering wheel has a push-in/stop button and a rotator knob on the right.

The automaker has not revealed a list of internal and special features of Tata Sierra. However, it is expected to come with several premium gifts, such as:

  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Wireless phone charger
  • Automatic communication in both zones
  • Multi-color ambient lighting
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Wireless Android Auto & Apple Carplay
  • HUD (head display)
  • Level 2 ADA
  • Abdominal muscles with EBD
  • Multiple airbags
  • 360 degree camera
  • Passenger seat airbag cutoff switch
  • isofix child seat anchor
  • Electronic stability control

The Tata Sierra will offer two fuel options – ice (internal combustion engine) and electric. Official details are expected to be revealed in the near future. However, the report shows that it will provide 1.5-liter turbo petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines, respectively, producing 170PS and 188PS power supplies, respectively. Buyers will have two gearboxes to choose from – a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic.

The Tata Sierra EV is expected to be equipped with multiple battery pack options, including 60kWh, reserved for higher trim. The SUV may offer a range of about 500 kilometers. Lower trim may have a single motor setup, while dual-sport AWD configurations can offer higher variants.
