The story appears to have originated in the Wall Street Journal, which reported that Axelrod said the Tesla stroller would debut in the first half of 2025 and cost $37,500. But if re-elected President Donald Trump chooses not to repeal the current EV tax credit system, the deal price could drop to just $30,000.

According to the same report, this isn’t the only secret car Tesla has in store for us next year. It is said that the automaker will also launch other new models to expand its market size and strive to achieve a growth target of 25-30%. One of the additional EVs could be a long-wheelbase, three-row Model Y, designed primarily for the Chinese market, but it could work well in other countries as well and help fill the gap between the Y and X Huge gap between SUVs. Model Y is also scheduled to receive a facelift in 2025.

However, Chinese media said Tesla warned that launching new products would inevitably lead to a temporary decline in profitability. Presumably, other news coming out of the conference includes Tesla confirming it will launch a self-driving taxi service using Model 3 and Y vehicles in California and Texas in 2025, followed by the company’s actual launch in 2026 The robot taxi Cybercab. The report states that the production cost of Cybercab was eventually reduced to US$30,000 per unit.

We reached out to Tesla investor relations team Travis Axelrod as well as Deutsche Bank North America and China for comment, but haven’t heard back from anyone yet, so for now you should probably Take this news with a grain of salt. But if this is true, traditional automakers will face a nightmare in competing.
