- Tesla just added new incentives for buyers who take delivery before 2025.
- Customers who take advantage of the offer will receive three months of free Supercharging and Full Self-Driving.
- The move comes as Tesla struggles to avoid an overall decline in deliveries this year.
Tesla faced pressure after selling just over 500,000 vehicles in North America in the fourth quarter. To achieve this, the company is now offering new incentives: three months of free Supercharging and Full Self-Driving (FSD). If Tesla misses the target, it will break its long record of hitting lofty sales targets.

It’s not easy to replace so many cars in a quarter, so Tesla is ramping up its deals. Buyers who take delivery before 2025 will receive three months of free Supercharging. This could make holiday road trips more attractive, as drivers can drive across the country essentially for free.

Additionally, the same buyers will get three months of fully autonomous (supervised) driving for free. Shoppers adding FSD to their car purchases “will have no other choice”. It is worth noting that even if the buyer completes the purchase and takes delivery before 2025, the free FSD reward cannot be postponed to a later date.

It’s also worth noting that Tesla already offers additional perks, including discounts on multiple models, the ability to transfer FSD from an existing vehicle to a new vehicle, and 0% APR financing options.
The company is clearly working hard to hit its sales target of 515,000 vehicles delivered in the fourth quarter. This is where winning streaks come into play. Tesla’s deliveries have increased year by year for a decade. If it doesn’t sell 515,000 vehicles in the fourth quarter, it will miss that target.
All of this comes at a time when EV buyers may already have their own personal motivations for buying. President-elect Donald Trump may reportedly eliminate the federal electric vehicle tax credit once he takes office in January. If he does, it could hurt Tesla, at least in the short term, but could definitely crush other electric car makers. So if you’re considering buying a Tesla, it might be time to buy one while rebates (and tax credits) are still available.
