The outbreak of this year’s anti-Tesla attacks forced some Tesla drivers to trade on cars for fear of their safety. When people working in Tesla’s showrooms (those who are also attacked) can’t easily escape the vandals without cheering up and getting a new job, they can at least hide when things get scary. A new report shows that some Tesla facilities have panic rooms where staff can take shelter from angry customers.

Tesla’s internal document titled “Safety of Managers: Threats and Aggression to Teams” fell into the hands of German newspapers Handelsblatt Thanks to the whistleblower, and included some interesting details about Tesla’s attention to its employees.

“Service center or showroom staff may be concerned about the safety of customers or other external parties due to violent incidents,” the guide said. “Tesla has modified some of its buildings to “provide employees with direct access to separate rooms in the event of violence.”
It is not clear which sites have safe rooms or how many, but what is really worth noting about this panic room plan is that security files are they existed before 2025, meaning they predate the current wave of violence against Tesla.
Tesla’s car and retail locations are protesters driven by the efficiency of the Governor General by CEO Elon Musk, who presided over the U.S. government on behalf of the new Donald Trump Trump. Dozens of Tesla electric vehicles have been shot and sprayed graffiti and caught fire at locations around the world, leaving some vandals charged with domestic terror.

Tesla’s employee security documents urge employees to try to show empathy when facing angry customers rather than attacking in person. They also encouraged them to engage in role-playing with other staff to better prepare for any form of confrontation and regularly meet with coffee to share concerns. If these guidelines are followed, you must drink a lot of coffee at the Tesla store at the moment.
