The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer has a sharper front end;

Chevy’s most affordable model gets a modest facelift and more tech for the new model year

Following in the footsteps of its brother, the Blazer, the Chevrolet Trailblazer has been revamped for the 2024 model year, with some minor exterior styling tweaks and a larger interior touchscreen. At the same time, it continues to use the same engines, the same trim levels, and much of the same interior content. Here’s a quick breakdown of what customers can expect from the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer.

From the outside, the new Trailblazer has narrower daytime running lights and a more compact front face design. The grille is still divided into two parts, but the upper grille is smaller and the bow tie logo is moved to the crossbar. We expect the front face shape, lights and grille design to be slightly different, depending on the trim.

Additionally, Chevrolet has introduced new wheel designs to the Trailblazer lineup, including a set of 19-inch rims for the RS trim. Two new colors have also made their way into the catalog. They are Copper Harbor Metallic (see below) and Cactus Green. The interior has also received some major updates.

Most notably, Chevy introduced a new 11-inch diagonal center infotainment system and 8-inch diagonal digital instrument cluster. Both features are vast improvements over last year’s top choice, which featured an 8-inch infotainment system and a fairly drab instrument cluster. Because of the larger screen, Chevy moved the climate control vents from above the infotainment screen to below it.

Overall, it gives the dashboard a cleaner, more upright look, and we imagine it’s easier to operate. Notably, it’s standard on all four trims: LS, LT, ACTIV, and RS. It also includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Aside from the changes outlined above, the 2024 Trailblazer remains largely unchanged.

It still comes with a 1.2-liter 137-horsepower (102-kilowatt) engine or a 1.3-liter 155-horsepower (115-kilowatt) engine. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is still available. Almost all Trailblazers will use a continuously variable transmission to transfer power. The only exceptions are those equipped with the 1.3-liter engine and AWD. In this case, the SUV uses a nine-speed conventional automatic transmission.
