  • Nissan announced that the 2025 Sentra will start at $21,590.
  • While the price increase for the higher-end model is smaller, it’s still a $410 increase.
  • The model is currently on sale with minor changes.

Affordable sedans are becoming increasingly rare, but the Nissan Sentra continues to go strong. Following a comprehensive refresh last year, the model will return for the 2025 model year with minor changes and a slight price increase.

Starting with the latter, the 2025 Sentra starts at $21,590. This is a slight increase over its predecessor, which started at $21,180. While the entry-level S model has seen a price increase of $410, the mid-level SV has only increased by $180. The top-of-the-line SR, on the other hand, has seen a price increase of $320.

Nissan didn’t say much about the car, but it did highlight a new maintenance program that gives customers up to three free oil changes in the first two years or 24,000 miles (38,624 kilometers) after ownership.

The only other change appears to be the NissanConnect Services package on the SV. It costs $200 and adds app connectivity as well as Wi-Fi hotspot access.

While that’s nothing to get excited about, the same goes for the entry-level Sentra S. It gets halogen headlights as well as 16-inch steel wheels with stylized covers. Buyers will also find a 4.2-inch multi-information display, a 7-inch infotainment system, and a four-speaker sound system. They also get air conditioning as well as power windows and locks.

Despite its fairly basic configuration, the model comes with a host of driver assistance systems, including smart cruise control, high-beam assist, and blind-spot warning. Other highlights include autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, and lane departure warning.

Higher-end models are more luxurious, with the top-of-the-line SR getting LED lighting and 18-inch alloy wheels. It also comes with heated front seats, a six-speaker audio system, a larger 8-inch infotainment system and a 7-inch instrument cluster display.

All Sentras are equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 149 hp (111 kW / 151 PS) and 146 lb-ft (198 Nm) of torque. The engine is coupled to an Xtronic continuously variable transmission, sending power to the front wheels.
