  • Amazon has released a trailer for the final episode of The Grand Tour.
  • This marks the end of a 22-year partnership between Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
  • These three made Top Gear famous, and The Grand Tour ended up lasting even longer.

The end of an era is coming, with the final episode of The Grand Tour set to air on September 13. It may well be the last time Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May appear on a show together.

The Grand Tour was on air for eight years, but the team are better known for making Top Gear an overnight success. Before Clarkson’s infamous “fracas” ended, the show had become a global phenomenon. Ironically, however, The Grand Tour ended up outlasting Top Gear.

That being said, the final episode is titled “One For The Road,” and Amazon has released a new trailer video that mentions that the trio have been together for 22 years, with Clarkson saying, “For the last time, let’s go.”

There’s not much to say about this, but the video shows the presenters trudging through the desert and sharing a lot of laughs. They also appear to be having problems with their problematic cars, which include a modified Lancia Montecarlo.

While the trailer doesn’t reveal much, the video is already very popular, as it has been viewed over 420,000 times in just six hours after it was released. It is also the 12th most popular video on YouTube, closely followed by another video of James May visiting Jay Leno’s garage.
