The new Jawa motorcycles will be launched in India on September 3:

The upcoming Jawa motorcycle is likely to feature a modern retro design theme and use a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with similar power and torque outputs as the Jawa 350 .

A week after launching the updated Jawa 42 motorcycle in India, Jawa has revealed its plans to launch a new motorcycle on September 3. Few details are known about the new motorcycle, but it is expected to feature a modern retro design theme. This suggests that a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with similar power and torque output as the Jawa 350 could feature in this new modern retro motorcycle.

In the Jawa 350, the 334cc Alpha-2 engine produces 22.2bhp of power at 7,000rpm and 28.2Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm, and the transmission is handled by a 6-speed unit. However, the new Jawa motorcycle is expected to offer this Alpha-2 engine in different tunes to suit its characteristics. Price-wise, this modern retro product is likely to be priced between Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.1 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will compete with the Honda CB350RS.
