Maserati is all set to launch the new GranTurismo in India tomorrow. The Grand Tourer is offered in three variants globally: Modena, Trofeo and Folgore. The first two are ICE models, while the third is an electric model. Although it has not been officially announced yet, the Italian carmaker will first launch the car in ICE form and follow up with the electric model some time later. In ICE configuration, the GranTurismo is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine (located behind the front axle) that produces 483bhp/600Nm in the base Modena and 550bhp/650Nm in the performance Trofeo models. The entry-level model has a 0-100kmph acceleration time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 302kmph. In comparison, the more powerful Trofeo has an acceleration time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 320kmph. Although Maserati has not made an announcement yet, we expect both the models to go on sale in India.

The top speed is 325 km/h and the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is 2.7 seconds. Maserati has equipped this car with a 92.5 kWh battery, which can travel 450 kilometers on a single charge.
Maserati GranTurismo: Exterior and Interior
The second-generation GranTurismo retains the low stance and sleek lines of the previous model while adopting modern styling. It features large air vents on the front bumper, a splitter, a huge Maserati trident emblem in the grille, slim vertical headlights and thin triangular taillights. The battery-powered Folgore model looks identical to the ICE model, but with different bumper and fender badges.
The interior of the GranTurismo now features multiple touch controls and digital panels that replace traditional buttons. It features a huge central touchscreen and digital instrument display, as well as an adjustable digital screen that replaces the traditional analog instrument cluster watch. In addition, the 12.3-inch main screen is now accompanied by an 8.8-inch secondary touchscreen for controlling the seats and air conditioning.
