Officers caught up with four suspects and recovered the car within just six hours after the robbery

- Police said the criminal stole a Porsche 911 worth nearly a million dollars on March 12.
- Within hours, authorities found the car and arrested four suspects related to the crime.
- Officials said the four men broke into a hole in the wall and entered the car.
Stealing a car is by no means a wise move, but in some cases it is especially questionable. The criminals in this story are obviously not that smart. They took the high-profile Porsche, leaving behind a lot of evidence and haven’t gone very far before the police caught up with them. Now, they will face serious prison time instead of reaping the rewards of crime south of the border.
The incident occurred on March 12 in El Paso, Texas. The cars involved include the 1971 Porsche 911, the 2014 Porsche 911, the 2007 911 Turbo and the 2024 Porsche 911. Needless to say, these are expensive sports cars that turn almost anywhere. This may be even more so in places like El Paso.

Local News Agency KFOX14 Police records related to the case were obtained. They do not depict pictures of talented planners. Apparently, the crew of four men got tired of some drywall through separate business connected to the storage unit. Once inside, they grabbed the car and left, but they didn’t go far. It wasn’t the police who caught them before they left. On the contrary, for whatever reason, they didn’t go too far.

Four suspects abandoned two cars in the nearby alley. In fact, a person is reportedly five minutes away from the crime scene. Another distance is six minutes. Somewhat interesting is that police found another four minutes away at 160 N. Cotton St and arrested two suspects.
The suspect seems to dream of an international resort. One of the men admitted what the plan was: bringing cars to Mexico and selling them. Apparently, the suspects believed they could cross the border through the Americas Bridge. The same man said he wanted to keep at least one car he had obtained in the robbery.
The entire operation was disassembled in just six hours. The suspects – Corey Dana Reed, 37; Juan Reynaldo Ochoa, 43; Milton Castilleja, 36; Luis Miguel Ubieta, 42, hasn’t even managed to achieve this in the whole town, let alone leave the country.
In the end, none of them will keep the car, but they will at least have another entrance to the criminal record.
