MG Majestor is launching for India in the coming months, positioning itself as a higher product compared to existing Gloster

MG Electric Motor unveiled a variety of vehicles two months ago, with BMGE 2025 in New Delhi having a place in BMGE 2025 in New Delhi. Despite presenting several models in its global portfolio as technology demonstrators, protesters in the Indian market are firmly focused on. Among them, Majestor (a full-size SUV) has attracted great attention.

With the official launch in the coming months, Majestor is expected to further strengthen JSW MG’s footprint in the highly competitive full-size SUV sector in India. The MG Majestor is essentially a re-estimated and upgraded version of the Maxus D90, which is already available on select international markets.

In India, it will arrive with the overall iteration of Gloster, but positioned as a higher product. Majestor plays the top version of JSW MG’s SUV portfolio and will be sold with the existing Gloster, following a similar strategy to Toyota with Fortuner and its legendary variants, which recently received a new 4×4 MT Trim.

Additionally, the SUV has more prominent front and rear skateboards, newly designed two-tone alloy wheels and dual exhaust sockets. It will stick with the familiar 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine in Gloster, producing 213 bhp and 478 nm. The powertrain will be paired with an eight-speed and a four-wheel drive system will be selected.
