
Kia India has tested a new high-end MPV. While the automaker keeps this new model tight, it is likely to be a premium version of Carens, which will be sold along with the MPV existing models. It will be available for sale next month (April 2025). So far, this is all the key details of the New Kia MPV (family cars).
– The updated premium version of Carens will be followed by the new name suffix. It will be in a higher position, with an estimated price of nearly Rs 20 lakh – Rs 25 lakh.
– The new Kia Carens will likely borrow a 30-inch Trinity panoramic display that includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a 5-inch climate control screen from Syros.
– Features such as the Level 2 ADA (Advanced Driver Assistance System) package may also come from Syros. The kit provides safety features such as forward collision warning, forward collision avoidance assist, lane assist, smart cruise control and more.
– This new Kia MPV will also be equipped with ventilated rear seats, an instrument car with dual cameras, wireless smartphone charger, panoramic sunroof, smart air purifier, Bose advanced audio system, KIA Connect 2.0, 360-degree camera, 360-degree camera, OTA (wireless) update, and more.
– The new premium version of the 2025 Kia Carens will share its powertrain with the current model, which comes with an option for 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines.
– The transmission will also extend from the current Carrence (including a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission).
– In June 2025, Kia will introduce Carens EV Using CRETA Electric’s smaller 42kWh battery pack, paired with a 135bhp motor. It is expected to have a range of about 400 kilometers on a single charge.
