If you own a Lamborghini and want to make it faster, underground racing has always been your best bet. The North Carolina-based company has been producing twin-turbo kits for the best Raging Bull teams for over a decade, and for its latest project, it turned its attention to the Revuelto and created a world Above is the first example of a pair of turbochargers bolted to the engine. Powerful 6.5-liter V12 engine.
Work on the massively upgraded model is still in progress, but the company has released some photos and videos previewing the crazy creation. It’s equipped with a pair of Precision’s billet wheel turbochargers and will also benefit from a fully built-in engine. A custom exhaust system will complement two new turbochargers and internal upgrades to the engine, while all software will be controlled by the JRR M1 engine management system. Underground Racing says that when completed, the car will produce an extraordinary 2,000 horsepower, a full 999 horsepower more than the standard Revuelto.
There’s no word yet on how much torque the V12 will produce, but it will certainly be significantly more than the stock engine’s 535 lb-ft (725 Nm). Two turbochargers, plus the three electric motors the Revuelto comes with from the factory, should make this car an absolute monster, and will likely be able to rival some of the nearly 2,000-horsepower electric supercars on the planet in a straight line .
This isn’t the first time Underground Racing has used a Lamborghini V12 engine. It offers a twin-turbo package for the Murcielago and Aventador, with the latter delivering up to 1,600 horsepower to the wheels when running on racing fuel.
